We sometimes miss our childhood all of a sudden when we think of going to Enchanted Kingdom. Reminiscing on the moments wherein our problem is which crayon will we use or how could we sleep in the afternoon if all our friends are outside playing. You just sometimes wish to go back in time and have that simple life as a kid.
Enchanted Kingdom has always been the destination for fun and excitement not just for the kids but also for the kids at heart. We all have been here a time or two—in our field trips or barkada hangouts. The last time I went to EK was last April of 2019 to celebrate my friend's birthday.
It was a long time since we’ve planned on going—took us seven years before we had push through inn going. We went there before lunchtime and we regret that because the sun was blazing hot at that time—I suggest if you’ll be going there on a non-peak season, try driving there wherein you’ll arrive maybe, three in the afternoon so that it’ll not be that hot. Upon arrival, we decided to go to the Agila 4D experience so that we’ll be in an air-conditioned room. After that, we started to explore Enchanted Kingdom. We didn’t get into rides yet because it’s really hot! So to kill some time we had photoshoots and roam around Instagramable spots around Midway Boardwalk—depicts a New York-like neighborhood with its shops and Rialto as its main attraction.
Some of our fave rides are Flying Fiesta, Bumper Cars, The Wheel of Faith (Ferris wheel), Jungle Log Jam, Rio Grande—caution bring extra clothes those rides will get you soaking wet! Lastly, of course, the famous roller coaster of Enchanted Kingdom—Space Shuttle!
Enchanted Kingdom always brings that inner kid in us. I think that’s the magic Eldar the Wizard gives us upon entering. The excitement and just wanted to have fun all day when we go there—the adrenaline rush when riding the roller coaster and the fascination of the view when riding the Ferris wheel. I hope when you leave Enchanted Kingdom that magic of having the inner kid in you will live forever.
